Jimmy Page

I have zero interest in a doubleneck, or an expensive custom-shop Les Paul (especially if that sadist guitar abuser Murphy puts his mitts on it), but if they do a USA "Number One" with "Pagebuckers" or whatever they would call them, I might consider opening my wallet.

Gibson made that Jimmy Page EDS 1275 back in 2007 back in 1980 my friend Mike wanted to trade me one for my 1972 Les Paul Custom
was not interested.

I had an Epi EDS1275 for a few years. Horrid high fret access, just an awful thick pointy neck joint. I liked the sound of the 12 string but hated it overall. Can't get at higher frets for any solos. Uncomfortable too.
Same design whether Epi or JP special.
Kaka.

I think I picked one of them up once in a shop many years ago. I thought it was just an absurd thing.

Personally I would agree but I have a friend of friend that owns that guitar. I didn't ask him if I could play it. I'm sure he would have said go for it but then what to play ?

The guy however is a huge Page fan and he is pretty good. He's been working on "Song Remains the Same" they do a pretty good version of it.

I do have thia cause double necks are cool. Note the high fret access.
12 string can be "faked" well with the guitar synth too.

maybe Jimmy Page was cool once long ago...
I was in my twenties then, and I liked other bands better. *shrugs
I would never consider playing a double neck.
