I'm guessing all of his favorite guitars have thin necks. He's always said the burst is so special because the neck was shaved. He's a pretty small dude so I can imagine a thin neck is a good fit for him. Hell, I'm 6'4" and I have started loving slim-tapers now after many years of insisting on big, thick necks.

Gotcha, thanks guys. Shewie, 6'4. How I wished I could have at least reached 6'. Was about 2.5-3 inches shy and now shrinking. I hate painting or drywalling up by ceilings as I am too short to reach with brush, screwgun, hammer n nail etc without a stool or ladder etc.

Way cheaper than I thought.

That's the production version. Fender hand built 50 that Page sprayed at least one stroke of paint on each one out here in the Corona plant. Read somewhere these might go for $25K each

The drop date on the production version is not likely to happen until May or June...

I pre-ordered one and hope there is 48 Month Financing when it drops.

May as well get the production version Fender in all the years of Custom Shop has not gotten the slab board neck correct 1959-1962
Look at the rosewood curve at the top of the neck.

I took about 10 shots of that guitar, with and without flash. The backlighting in the case just messed with the iphone’s capability of getting a true color shot. Don’t forget the case candy shot too. That’s what you’ll get, bow included.

Long &McQuade it is where I got most of my guitars from including my Gibson SG.
