TBH this conversion took longer than expected I pulled the stock "Duncan Designed" humbuckers-------

the pickguard was WARPED like nothing I had seen -- it was multiple waves --

I flattened it by HEATING on the dash board of my truck ---in the sun -- on a board-- then brought it in the house sandwiched it between 2 boards and added weight ------ and let it cool for 48 hours----

so now its all back together sounds and plays AMAZING--- love it -- and NO HUM like the original pups

I like the Vintage-ish gold knobs need to "yellow" the switch tip and the trem tip to match

Vox VT30 is my go to amp the Kustom is my Go to acoustic amp now

THey make a good product for sure -- I need the "real estate" the Kustom is inhabiting -- for other things
I had a VT20 many years back and I didnt give it enough chance -- I might need to score another

I have my Marshal half stack, I admit i really don’t use it much, for now, but to me it’s art, I have pics on the wall i dont play, and my half stack just looks as good.

I agree--- my little piece of paradise is an ever changing ebb and flow of gear -- things roll in and things wash out --some stay -- some will never leave-- I listen to them -- some tell me they want to stay some tell me when they are ready to go -- the Kustom is is a case of hiding a gem from the worl d it WANTS to go and assault ear drums--- I can not deny its wishes --- it was fun --- I upgraded it and made it better with Drumoids help -- and now it can go forth and kick butt some more....

perhaps now I have room for that VOX VT 20.............thouhg I really dont NEED it--- have I mentioned the MESA???? in the pic -- with the light on?

yes a MESA/BOOGIE--- -IT really trumps all .........
