I find it curious with the Marshall heads on a cab behind the keys - who's using them?

Also a bit snobby on my part - I was happy when he stopped playing silvertones and marginal 60's guitars. Or not.

Very talented guy, but I was a bit disappointed here. He always had his "this is just about making a lot of noise" moments with the White Stripes, but with only him and Meg on stage it was better, cleaner, I find. This was a bit too much of the "noise" and not quite enough "music" for me. Somehow Meg's simplistic drumming (not knocking her, by the way, I couldn't do it better) suited his style well.

I wasn't *too* surprised at him playing a bunch of Tele's, but the Acoustasonic... I guess he's always had a thing for oddballs. Still gotta love how he plays slide acoustic with an unreasonable amount of gain, he's good at that!

I still want to try that signature triplecaster...
 
I'd like a good Acoustasonic Tele. I'm sort of split between thinking of them as gimmicky and a cool idea. As a Tele fan, they suit me well but the ones I've played were horrible; bad fretwork, warped necks or just sounding utterly dead. I also think they're a bit overpriced for what they are. Still, if a half-decent one crossed my path at a friendly price, yup....
