I think it's actually moderated better now. Maybe that speaks to the old crew who definitely played favorites. I could
tell some stores what happened to me in the past regarding infractions and temporary bans. There was a small bunch
of people watching me and a few others just waiting to report me. One would egg others on and his buddies would
just watch and report whoever took the cheese.

I am not saying that they are not turning the MF into crap. I don't care for the new format myself. I probably will not
participate. If I do it will be very little. I feel for you guys who spend a lot of time there. It's seems like someone
dropped a deuce on your comradery.

Also I was not ask to change my password yet and I am currently logged in over there. It's nine lower case letters. You
guys know more about any of old ways than I ever will. But like I said before they might own the pictures you post.

Btw, I found this place during on of the times off the gear page gave me. There was only one person who gave me crap
here. But he does it every forum he is on. Probably because part of of his name was "mad" I think he has not posted here in a while.

I think it's a good thing that a lot of you have migrated here. More people will add more posts maybe on the slower sub-forums
here.

TGP has not been switched to the new software yet, so just wait. That will be a freak show. And I agree that the moderation is much more fair and objective now, but the site is still swarming with people who have a very different idea of what is and is not appropriate behavior compared to normal adults.

100% it's going to be nuts. In my opinion when the old harmony central shut down a lot of that b.s. came to TGP. But yes,talk about the number of people who have no manners and just want to act like children. Or have no clue what they are talking about. Mr. Mad guy found a home,

But people like that run off a lot of others who are good decent knowledgeable people.

There are some members that I like though. There are people there with a lot of knowledge whom I learned a lot.
I pretty much stick to one thread. Everyone is pretty cool about things and no one complains when we frequently go off topic. That and I still
browse and use the emporiums. TGP has not been easy on my wallet.

I guess MLP forum is heading for the new software update too.

I think he says things on porpoise. Or he believes his own b.s. He went after me over what the numbers mean on an eminence speaker.
The best was about JJ tubes. I had to explain the small letter is for the origin where they were made. With S being for Slovakia. His
reply was it's for spiral filament. I welcomed him to my ignore list.

Okay. I'll be that dude. I owe it to him at the very least.

The 'mad' guy, while he may be..... err....controversial.....lol

This guy went out of his way to help me out personally big time, completely free of charge....and a few others too. I didn't always agree with his assessment of, well.....everything....but he once did me a HUGE solid and I feel like I have to say something instead of just jump on the dog pile... people fck up, they make mistakes, and that's just part of being a human.

Yes, he fcked up and (I *think* accidentally said something horribly offensive) but in all other interactions I had with the guy, he was honorable and upstanding as anyone else.

Sh!t happens sometimes.

We're all nothing more than primates that have mostly learned to stop rolling up our own feces into projectiles....some of us have made it farther in that objective than others....and that is totally okay. We're all on the same journey at the end of the day, just we're all at different checkpoints along the way.

I do not believe that he *intentionally* offended as many as he did, nor I do believe he *intentionally* went out of his way to do so.

In this particular case, I choose to believe that it wasn't in any way meant to be a personal attack or anything, just that the timing was [beyond] awful.

I could be, and often am, wrong.

I don't want to start a shıtshow here or anything, but.....

Even the forums have cliques...just sayin.

I won't forget the assistance he afforded me, regardless of what happened in the long run.

I, for one, wish him well.

As I do with all of you. Regardless of your foibles, (and mine).
