Its time for an all Stratocaster Thread

This is the guitar that made this forum possible. Several years ago my oldest grandson received this Strat for Christmas and he was very proud show it to me. It had been a decade or four since the last time I had touched a guitar. I remembered how to tune a guitar, play a few simple licks and some exercise techniques to show him. I was home all day back then and had time to learn and practice new stuff every day while he was at school and after school he would come home (he was staying with us at the time) from school and I would teach him something new... after doing his homework. We ended up spending a bunch of time just handing his Strat back and forth for me to show him, hand it back to him, pass it back to me... I did some research on the internet about guitars. Started off learning all about strats and then Les Paul and when I got to SG, I liked what I read, went to GC to try out a G-400 and now we didn't have to pass his Strat back and forth anymore. So if not for the Christmas present Strat pictured below, I would not have bought a guitar of my own. I would not have become involved with a guitar forum. I would not have met my partners here and built this forum. Lenin is several years older now, moved out and supporting himself. He still owns the Strat, but does not play it much if any at all. When I look at this guitar, I see it as the very start of this forum, just as some believe the Big Bang started our universe.
