It's not politics, not religion, just respect.

Yeah, some folks were just good people who tried to do something greater than themselves. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was one of those rare people who dreamt of something better and sadly, there's not enough folks like that in the world, else this would all be a better place
 
Martin Luther King certainly believed in ONLY non violent protests. "Mostly" peaceful protests are not peaceful. He also always flew American flags at his rallies. He always used prayer in his rallies, as he was a Reverend (though that's kind of forgotten and not mentioned on his DC Statue". I feel very lucky to have met his widow, around 1986ish. What a lovely, classy and smart lady she was. And so gracious.
