This Engl can thump! I'm dialing in some tones and I love them.

Today I played my Cheapo Jackson king V for a bit, it sounded dull and I haven't been that happy with it lately.
So I restrung it with regular 10s and tuned it back up to standard adjusting the Floyd back as well.
It sounds much better. Some guitars are like that, they sound better in lower or higher tunings ...it is what it is.

Through the ENGL tonight.

Sounds good to me buddy,, I tend to do the same thing with the string gauge, and tuning’s, some just fit the need better than the other’s..
My SG stay’s in D standard, or dropped from there, same thing with my V .. but A standard,, and dropped.
