Well I got a call from an old student, his new amp was jacking up, red-plating tubes.... It was a mess. But we pulled it apart and tested everything I could...
Long story - short....
Gave me a reason to turn my amp on and tune a guitar up anyhow....
Haven't played much at all since shoulder surgery.
Came up with this riff on the spot.

This morning I was in the shower and caught a riff in my head.
Managed to find a drum track that worked well enough to download it.
Recorded this song in the garage just before it got too effing hot outside!
Not sure if I'll squeeze a lead in there or not.... Might just leave it and tweak it a little here and there.

Here's an old vid, where my little bro was in town and axed me if he could take my LP #1 for a li'l rip. Moiderized it, he did... the little bastard.
I taught him his first chords and a couple box patterns, and he never looked back.
We now resume to regular riff programming

Today I bought a new guitar!
So I needed to post it with a Riff.
2017 Tribute Les Paul. Mahogany, maple cap, rosewood board.
I got it home, lem-oiled the board, wiped it all down, pulled the pickguard, installed Schaller Straploks, new beefy slinky strings, set it up low and drop B
It sounds pretty meaty and wonderful to me!
So I needed to post it with a Riff.
