It's all about the Rrrrrriiiffffffss!

Lunchtime riffage

Good stuff! Random question: Are you in a high school or a middle school? I ask because my son is in middle school and had band as an elective, but they don't offer guitar as they don't have any or anyone to teach it. So, he asked his friends who go to a handful of different schools and none of them have the ability to take guitar lessons. MY first exposure to playing guitar was in the 7th grade, but unfortunately, my son doesn't get that opportunity. So, we're hoping the high school does and he can take them in the 9th grade. (don't ask why he won't just take lessons from his dad... apparently it's only cool if he does it at school with his classmates... :ROFLMAO: )
Man I love this guitar!
Haven't played it in a while, still perfectly in tune....
V neck, ebony board, string thru, secret sauce DDJ in the bridge... Mmmmhmmmm

Making this little speedster up as I go.

Definitely a sweet fiddle. What pickups are in that one?

Both, Actually. I was a PE teacher at the middle school for 22yrs. Now I am assistant principal there.

About 12 years ago I started a guitar class at the high school.
It morphed into a CTE class about 9 years ago where I teach audio recording and music production...

I always offer to teach any kid guitar or bass. Every year that number gets smaller, they all want to create beats and try to rap nowadays much to my dismay ha ha ha.

7th grade is still all about who is looking at me.... I tried teaching both my kids to play and neither one of them stuck with it, so I feel your pain brother.

Oh and the pickups are Seymour Duncan 59neck and a Seymour Duncan SH6 (DDJ) zebra in the bridge. The DDJ gives it extra mojo. . . Which just means it was made by the legendary MJ. (Pickup winder at SD)
