Just a single dsl40c a Joyo ultimate drive, red channel ultra 2 gain was at 3, volume at 2.

Thats quite often a very similar setup i use myself and it works great in my opinion! The Joyo thru the front of a JCM2000 DSL50 with its gain almost completely off, level near maxed and tone about 3/4 of the way up on high mode. Amp on Ultra Gain 1 at 3 and the Volume at around 3.

Drives the tubes hard at a lower volume, giving that nice natural breakup in gain
