Is your Gibson dishwasher safe ?

I usually don’t hand wash dishes, but this morning I did some bowls we used for dinner last night. I laughed as I was drying them when I saw this.

In this case it doesn't necessarily mean it's made in China. China is a name used for any fine ceramic or porcelain dinnerware because it used to only come from China, but it's made everywhere now. My Grandma (and my Mom) would only put out the good "china" on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
