Is there a time limit on the ability to edit your own posts?

I just pulled my head out from under the hood and indeed there is no option to enable/disable the ability to edit someone else's post in a PM/DM. I do not recall this ever being an ability before, but I have just updated the Xenforo software this weekend and will need to investigate this further. I as an admin have the ability to edit any post, private or public. I just turned off the ability to edit your own post in PMs. Can someone check this to see if it is still possible to edit posts in
PMs?
 
Confirmed, I can edit other people's posts in DM's. Also, see my last message... I can actually delete *your* posts in public threads. That's a regression since the last tinkering session, I'm fairly certain.
 
Another problem, if you post in a thread you are automatically signed up to follow it and receive emails when someone posts in it. I don't play that way, I have notifications turned off but still getting emails.

Guess what, my email options (checkboxes) are all gone, I can only select/deselect Push.
