Is Reverb.com a trustworthy dealer?

I recently had an issue with a seller --- misrepresenting a used product---that came to me partially damaged--not nonfunctional -- but damage that devalues the item-- it took some time and some investigation on reverbs part--(the seller didnt insure the item in shipping-- always INSURE the item) but -- they did make the situation "right" as they could --- and the seller is no longer selling on reverb.com ----are they perfect??? No-- things happen-- but they did (after what I consider a LITTLE extra pestering from me) make the situation right.
 
I buy and sell a LOT on Reverb. They are an outstanding company that does everything they can to make things work out between
buyers and sellers on every transaction.

They are owned by Chicago Music Exchange so they have a lot experience in the marketplace.

Same here. I have had nothing but positive dealings with them over the 5-6 years I have been using them.

I also had a personal experience as a seller. A guy bought a powered speaker from me. It arrived to him in mint condition. He said he loved it and gave me a 5 star rating.
Three months later he suddenly changes his tune and says that nothing works right and never did. He demanded a full refund.

Reverb stepped in and told me not to worry about it and not to respond to the buyer. They dealt with him. Another three weeks go by and I get an email that they refunded
him the full price of the gear. It never cost me a cent so I'm obviously happy and he must be happy too...
 
I’ve bought 8 guitars and a couple of amps from them. Nothing but the best service and communications.
