IR's? are's the thing.....but do I need one?

My Mk 5 has a CabClone built into it. It's amazing for recording and going direct into a board for playing live. Also has a headphone out so you can wail away without bothering the neighbors. Pretty cool piece of kit actually.

You kinda do but if you're just using it for recording and not for going into a desk I'd go the software route instead. Much cheaper and you can try a bunch of different ones.

.... I use a guitar -- a cord--and an amp -- OCCASSIONALLY a reverb pedal or a fake copy of a horsie pedal (Klon clone) .....thats about as jiggy as I get
bass signal is even more complex......bass....cord...amp...BOOM ba boom boom boom BA boom ....cha! (jazz hands)
