I thought some of us would be entertained by this episode of Savage Builds Episode 1
I had no idea you could 3D print Titanium but you can learn something everyday.

It is very interesting to watch the whole episode. Adam Savage from Myth Busters actually builds (correction , he finds people to help and he has a team to assemble it) that suit out titanium. It’s still quite a ways from being real but much closer than the plastic suite in the movie.
There are a combination of real world technologies but yeah, they shot it , blew it up and made it fly.
