Nope -- not the dogs -- though they are awesome critters-- I have Irish setters FOR MY DOGS
Ive worn Irish Setters for well 2 decades now (and I am on my second pair --- YES-- not lying) and I have a 3rd pair in the box in "reserve" --- they are -- excellent boots for (almost) all conditions (not steel toe) .......though Ive YET to be on a Site that CHECKED .... anyway
Last night I broke my pinky toe---- (there is a REASON farmers dont wear FLIP FLOPS) -- but I was pruning a tree for the geese to get some mulberry leaves--- I didnt see the "need" to go in the house and put on BOOTS so I headed out and in the act of trimming the tree JAMMED/SNAPPEd/Broke my pinky toe on a bit of field fence that was jutting out ---- cussed..... but -- whatcha gonna do ????
So this morning looking at the little black licorice looking BEAN of a pinky toe, I was DREADING 10 hours of on my feet walking a job site today ........................
I grabbed my Sanuks and put them in the truck, in "case"" ...... and sat down and laced up my boots for a painful day .........................
That turned out.............to be --- THE EXACT FOOKIN OPPOSITE................... with the boots on the toe felt totally normal-- fine -- ZERO PAIN! walked miles -- all dayu -- drove -- no issues.... DIDNT EVEN REMEBER IT WAS BROKE till I took the boots OFF !!!
so PSA -- if yer lookin for a good cheap work (non steel toe) boot ---- these are DAMN impressive !
