Interesting new $58.89 with free shipping cheap strat type guitar

It is interesting that they talk about the rosewood fret board, but not what the body is made of.
 
Ya, I caught that too. At worse plyboard, but probably bass wood or similar. I think I'll pose the 'what's the body made of question' to the seller.
 
Gotta say, I'm interested. If it's beyond cheap, I don't want to waste the cash....but my epiphone lp changed my entire attitude towards inexpensive guitars.

I contacted the seller and asked if they know what the body is made from. Ya gotta wonder how they can ship if for free at the price they're asking.
 
If my fiancé would let me buy another axe, I'd honestly shell out for it and use it as a project. Buy new pickups, play with different wiring options. That sort of thing. At 60$ my gut tells me the very first thing I'd do is change out the tuners.... but that's just me..

I had a project just like that, a certain green Strat. Cheap has a way of getting expensive real quick as you delve into the project!!
 
The unbranded thing is one of the reason I'm looking twice at it - makes it easier to custom label the head stock for the hey of it.
The eBay seller said to get back with them Monday, as they have to ask the supplier of the guitar what the body is made of.

Yep....buyer beware ---you might (might) get a hell of a deal ----I did.

I removed the Amoon logo and slapped a Fender deacl on it----- the body the build the finish are excellent for the 48.00 ---the tone is VERY Stratish.........everything works perfectly.
Couldnt be HAPPIER with the purchase -- and what an AWESOME mod platform/base to test pups or electronics or wiring or neck swaps or whatever........

Smitty the reality is --- if you buy a 48.00 guitar expecting it to have the woods --- and hardware of a 2500.00 guitar your going to be sadly disappointed.....

--- if you look at it as a building platform.....a study in-- Can I get a functioning new guitar delivered to my house for 50-60.00 ????--- then its a fun way to learn something new :)

I just ordered a Jameson Stratocaster from eBay with the gift card I got for my birthday. I'm gonna use this one for a project. Shipped it cost $65. I think I'm gonna do a David Gilmour tribute Strat. I'm almost finished my Jimicaster. I'm waiting on a custom neck plate. Other than that, it's finished.

I can see the building platform approach.
 
YEs....however I say--- wait till you play it a week or so before ordering parts--- you may find after you have played it a bit--- you need order NOTHING lol
