No, mine came from Michigan.
Only issue is the bridge pickup. My P90 experience was 'informed' by my SX Calisto Jr, that guitar kicks ass hard. The Fender, not so much. Neck pickup sounds good, so like i said, working with Ken on a 'signature model" Ghostwolf special for the bridge position.
This is, for me, the true 'coolness factor' with this guitar. Ken's pickups are amazing, having one built especially for me, AND being so radically different has me stoked.
One problem, and it's very minor- the 24" scale length throws me off, i'm so used to teles, it sounds at times like i've never seen a guitar before...
 
Sometimes its fun to embrace the odd and new-- like wanking off with your other hand -- or your feet----

That tele forum...i had a war there...over someone insulting a newb..a guy called him a doucebag cause he dint know how to set a guitar up...jumped right in & shut it down but the tele players who never ever post clips,..they are all full of crap..jumped on me,,,flat told the guy....wrong move...and a guy attacked my wife & my situation real hard...he was removed..but to this day..oh & i went out & J filmed me i smashed my American baja around the stop sign outside & best tone i ever heard out of a tele...posted the vid..it was up for 1 min..never to found again

actually i keep it around..cause i can never be pushed that far again..love making music & if you do originals & post em..the attacks start & if you have a successful band..they attack..always have to remember..i make music cause i love it and playing live for the people & the interaction is awesome...i do not make it to impress musicians..

Full disclosure- i mod at the Squier forum, used to do so at Strat Talk, too. Weirdly enough, i joined TDPRI first. Never posted there much, and never cared much for 99% of the members there. Strat talk was much better, until that MLP guy bought the group, then strat talk went downhill quickly. i informed them i wouldn't be part of the train wreck, and quit. Squier Talk is still cool, it's too small to have a 'tude. Mostly there i just empty ashtrays and refill the beer cooler.
There are TWO TDP members i do enjoy reading- Fezz Parka, and Boris Bubbanov. Fezz is an amazing teacher, knows his stuff, and has a warped sense of humor. Bubba is a wealth of knowlege re: telecasters.
The rest of 'em suck.

jakedog, telenumonics(i sent him parts in winter when his work is slow) wally, Silverface, Rob(amp guy) there is some great dudes there that really try & help...i just dont get why they do the personnel attacks..honestly..not many that really run the mouth about things ..never owned the gear or can play good for as much smack as they talk


when they say JB, pagey, The Boss..Greta suck & have no music whatsoever to show us..i cant do it..
for fun..i backed down a notch & they sure are stuck seeing so many gibsons & superstrats & marshalls..they just gave up on me...i go for the tech stuff....MF..there i have friends who have shared the stage with me..know me..my family & it helps cause not much BS comes my way..always been a believer a gear site..best way to interact with the peers is demo the gear..not debate in theory...a clip..doesnt have to be perfect..but give a guy a chance at hearing close to his situation//RVA..His Klon Cl demo..changed my tone..all cause he took the time...there is a way to do this ..this place is it....whats the compettition...stick up for your gear...but be nuetral..put a SS & Tube amp side by side..tele & sg....make it real...let the results be heard...even then i can like 1 you another..and we are all supposed to like dif gear & play dif music but try & make eachother better.
 
O:offtopic: I am a noob to forums period, my longest tenure is on the Marshall forum it will be 2 years in July, here only since last May.
And on the MF I started posting clips as soon as my grandson showed me how to post them.
By setting up a YouTube channel for me, and just like my brother BFT I play for myself, if others like it ,, that’s great. TTR is one of the best forums I’ve ever had the pleasure to become a member of!!
