I love the short scale bass. I already have a 1978 P bass, I got it with the case for $200 back in 1985 around there. I have played an old 70s Mustang bass which was beat down hard. This thing is covered with old worn out stickers and looks like poop. This bass however totally rocks! I need to get a hold of the guy who owns it. He said he would sell it to me. The new one I got coming in should arrive tomorrow. I'll post photos of my P and the new PJ Deluxe Mustang. Just like my P this Mustang has a maple finger board. That means brighter tone. The old beat up Mustang I want to get has an incredible tone to it. It has a rosewood finger board. These short scale bases are a blast. They almost play themselves.
