I could not pass up the Sweetwater deal on the Blackstar HT-1RH for $179.99. I have one of the first HT-1 combos when they came out a few years ago. These things are all that and a bag of chips. I changed out the speaker on it. It comes with some kind of speaker called the Blackbird. I changed it out with a Jensen C8R. The Blackbird is not bad. The Jensen sounds a little brighter but not "ice picky." I'm back to work right now, so I can afford this. These single watt amps you can run a speaker with 4 to 16 ohm load. I will play it through a 16 ohm Vox Lil' Night Train 10" cab. The speaker is a Celestion V10. I'll post photos along with pictures of some pedals you guys wanted me to post but, I've busy and lazy both about. I promise I'll try to make time.
 
I've had mine almost three years now. It gets daily use. It's the only headphone amp that I'll use. It sounds awesome with a 4x12 cab. With everything dimed it can keep up with drummer. When I'm not using headphones it goes through a 1x12 cab.
 
I generally have my iPad, headphones, and a guitar plugged in. It is the perfect amp perfect for youtube lessons.
 
I really dig this amp. Congratulations! Is it just the reflection, or did the factory tighten the input jack nut too tight?

It is just a reflection Goldie. It was new and just right out of the box. I really like that this one has reverb.
 
Thanks guys. These things are very cool. I've had the HT-1 combo since I first seen it on a demo years back, when they first hit the stores.
