In threads do you go to the original post

Lol i try to go back and answer the subject at hand but yeah, its REALLY easy to get lost here. Attention Deficit Disorder runs rampant and a question about something as simple as guitar string gauges quickly evolves into " Hey, you guys ever wondered how they make Hot Pockets?"

Umm Norm, I believe that my logical mind would keep me typically viewing new threads from the beginning @ post 1. Once I see the reason for the thread, I work my way through it and answer any post I choose to. Or I just add a story or advice etc.

Then I sneak in to the tracks and hide the dynamite and detonation equipment to derail the beotch.

A thread is a very integral part of the music scales.
Without a thread you couldn't have sew.
Then you'd never get back to doe, doe, doe DOH!

By the way have we ever officially addressed this subject. I mean, that's a glaring oversight if you ask me.
They obviously have a hot pockets machine. Who would conceive such a diabolical device, I dare not contemplate.
Ah, see now we're getting somewhere! This Hot pocket machine, its clearly a Doomsday Device, built to undo humanity, one reflective cardboard box heater at a time. But WHO made it? I guess Im gonna go into my freezer and look around the packaging for ominous clues. My money? The Illuminati

And.....i have now realized that THIS thread has now derailed as well....the cycle continues! This is getting pretty meta!

The threads always derail, I thought that was prototypical.
As to who made that machine...I wouldn't go there I just wouldn't.

Back on topic…. Feel it depends on the topic. If the OP is something health related. A personal issue. Work related due to what’s been happening globally this past two years. Things tend to stay on topic. Supportive.

But say I start one on modding guitars and list the things I’ve done to my G400…. Can almost guarantee a half dozen posts in, someone is going to bring up fish/chips and Guinness. Just S.O.P. here.

first before you respond. I know at times i have not. But i have been working harder at doing this, to actually get what the O.P is about.

Yes, I try to always go back to the OP to understand the original context of the thread. As much as possible, I also try to read other posts to see if the same point I’m about to make has already been stated. Often, that is the case, so I may quote a post and expand on it.
