My K-Tel memory is Convoy (disco compilation with the title track).I can honestly say my family bought it, not me.

Those Top Hits Albums were great when I was a young kid and wasn't buying many albums yet. It was only a year
or two before I was building a huge collection, but I enjoyed the K-Tel for a short while...

The problem is some of the songs were not recordings of the original band. Convoy had "Rock and roll all night", but I think I remember it wasn't Kiss.

I only bought the ones the were Original Hits by the Original Artists. I know they had some crappy knock off bands on some of the LP's.
