I have had similar experiences..expensive guitar demystified!

The Pelham Blue Epi SGs are lovely. I've seen a few for sale new at around $375 - $450, but have never pulled the trigger. I'm not sure about the secondhand value - they probably keep their value well, maybe $300? But, they are hard to find and ebay folks are asking crazy prices these days (and many folks are paying those crazy prices too), so you'd probably get $350 for it.
There are many really nice Epis which are probably worth keeping if you have the room: the P90 special single cut, some 1966 specials (in white with P90s - wow) and yours are but three.
&, yes, most people regret selling guitars they like(d), but unless the guitar is really special to you then it's not a biggy; sell it if you have enough guitars to satisfy you - but know that it'll be very hard to replace!
(You're gassing me up now, I'm gonna to check out the Epi SGs avaailable here in Korea!).
Blimey, if that's a Gibson and plays well then I wouldn't sell that! Was it a 2011/2012 Sam Ash limited edition?

In over 57 years I've bought, sold, and traded over 180 guitars and over 75 amps. None of them have a soul. They didn't have names and were never called "she" or "her". They're all simply lumps of wood, metal, and plastic. Nothing more. I've had classics to clunkers. They're all for sale with the right price. All.....
