I haven't seen my grandkids except for a couple of outside visits in a park in almost a year. I'm jealous. All the parents work in very public settings so they won't take a chance that they'll give us COVID.

I can understand that, but a year is an awful long time not to see them. Hopefully it will go away soon. It's strange, mine haven't even given me a cold this year, for the first time ever.

We do weekly video chats and the rare outdoor visit. A few times the parents have been exposed at work or the grandkids at daycare so they all get tested. When they all come back negative we have a quick outdoor visit. We are not locked down in British Columbia but there is a public health order not to visit outside of your immediate household and essential travel only between health regions. Half of the grandkids are in another region.
