Cool. Does that wire have 2 conductors? It wouldn't make a diff.

I was using Fender Cables and they have a short life span like about all. I don't know who really makes them and I'm sure they are made in the Far East. I have tried others but people just step kick and yank them. Oh wow those are three words I never want associated with my rear end. Yank step and kick! Let me toss in shove when I'm thinking about it.

I noticed the two conductor cable (4 actually - the red/white is 'Hot' and the silver/copper braid is 'ground') is super quiet and unaffected by RFI/EFI and with headphones on, I can hear some 'white noise' with other cables...
