Im confused

That MIGHT be the ugliest headstock I've ever seen.

It is almost a reverse version of the original Moderne guitars. It's not quite the same, but the inspiration seems to be there.

Always kinda liked the reverse Explorer myself. Not that I'd pay $4K for one.

Then again, I've been used to the Moderne headstock shape since '82. (Even though its weird little pulleys take a second to settle at pitch when you're tuning. Still, straight string pull is a good thing.)

BTW, those Steinberger banjo tuners on the reverse Explorer are actually great machines.
I have 'em on my Firebirds. Love them.
