I'm Bored - Need a Board:

Ok, its time to get serious about this board thing. I've never had one. I want compact and portable.

Here's my proposed signal chain - not necessarily in this order:

Korg Pitchblack Tuner

Smitty-Built A/B Switch Box

Boss F30L volume pedal

Boss DD-3 delay

Boss CS-3 compressor

Boss GE-7 EQ (Maybe)

What's a good start????

Velcro. The board came with the fuzzy carpet stuff. Went to Home Depot and bought a Velcro kit and used just the other half of the Velcro stuff. Stick that on the bottom of the pedal.

The pedal train boards usually include a healthy supply of Velcro when purchased new. Mine had plenty...

The only thing not velcroed down is the Boss line selector...I’m not sure it’s staying on that board.

I used a Furman for quiet a while. Power supply built in and a nice long power cord. Comes with a zip up carrying case. Once I converted to mostly Boss pedals I picked up a couple of their 6 bangers. If I play out I reduce it to just one 6 pack.

Hi Robert,

My advice is to keep it simple (in this order): tuner, compressor, tube screamer/od (if you need it), booster, and a micro-Hush pedal at the end. Run modulation effects in the loop.
I use a Pedaltrain, but any board will work. Batteries? We don't need no stinkin' batteries!
