I'm Back.....

Thanks, John.

Besides all the physical trauma your body is going through, I'm hoping that your comfortable at home with plenty of care if needed.

When was the last time you touched a guitar?

I tried as soon as I got home, the P.E. I experienced has impacted my ability to play, my hands don't don't communicate, it's like they don't know who's doing what...... more on this later.

Hey GW! Long time no see! I remember you from EverythingSG forums and also I caught one of your shows at the Chicago Blues fest,, with ribs or bear or something, hehe. The Boyz! It was great seeing you and the band play. I never really saw a rock star rock concert before, until that day when I saw about 10-15 minuets of George Thorogood, before we had to leave and head back home to Michigan.

This was about 12 years ago or so, and I think Mot the Hoople member was there in the crowd. Good times, I'm so glad I was able to make it out to one of your shows. Wishing you all the best in healing and recovery.

UPDATE: So here's a Readers Digest version. I'm still having cognition problems, my memory isn't so good, but it's getting better I have to write things down, that helps and I can walk around a bit without my walker now. Still having a hard time playing, I'm really at odd's with figuring out a way to get my muscle memory back, it's freekin hard, simple stuff that I was able to whip through is tough. That P.E. that I had really messed me up, but at lest I'm still vertical considering the alternative. I recently restrung my guitar to really light gauge strings (.09's) that helps a little, but I still struggle. If anyone has any tips, bring'em on!
