I'm a PRS nut...

Well the PRS Kool-Aid was truly and heartily consumed. Now I needed a humbucker model! Just so happens a forum brother from another mother on another site was selling this...



A 2008 core Mira with old school birdies.



This is a rock machine. The little mini toggle splits both pups.



As you can see, there's a boo boo on the headstock, so I had Evil Monkey point it out!



And the start of the collection...

Truss Rod Cover with Evil Monkey Inlay will fit PRS | eBay

Cover is made from handcut Ebony, and inlay is White and Gold Mother Of Pearl Shell, and Tiger Eye Stone. The SE version is just a little longer, and while this cover will fit, there will be a small gap between the bottom of the cover and the nut.

Welcome to TTR! I am sure you will love it here.
I had a 2008 PRS Mira Core and loved it! A fantastic player. Mine had Seymour Duncan pickups and sounded great. Sadly, I moved it along in the never ending search for tone.
Anyway, here is my 2009 PRS McCarty.20200223_173832.jpg

Fabulous! Love the moons on that one. Everyone needs a McCarty! (tm).
 
OK... after getting hooked on the PRS "thing", next up I wanted to try a rosewood neck guitar. Like many of you I have one eye on CL, one eye on Reverb, and one eye on Ebay...
Oh wait...
Anyway I found a killer deal on local CL, contacted the seller, made him an offer and he took it. I jumped in the car and was back in 1 hour with this...

2001 McCarty. Mahogany back, flame maple top, rosewood neck, classic Kluson tuners. The neck is wide/fat. Wonderful guitar, I got lucky!
