If you like pets...

They are mean and chase you. They are good to eat though.

silly humans
lol --- I reckon -- -- dont RUN--did you try turning and standing your ground ????
They peck a bit (it won't even break skin really) -- and after the hissing and feather fluffing and pecking ..... they realize ...........oh this person isnt going to be scared of me........hmmm maybe I need to play it cool.....
and then its groovy and you can pet them (you think a down pillow is soft??? go to the SOURCE!) and they make GREAT pets and watch dogs --- very alert and ....... LOUD -- blusterous ,...,.,., and for some reason people are scared of them .........so WIN WIN .

THey eat less than 120lb dogs as well.

however IF the goose noise doesnt stop the intruder......................................the 120 lb dogs WILL or at least slow em down enough for the home owner to reload ;)

They are afraid of very large Rottweilers trained to chase them off the patio because nasty geese like to poop everywhere and tear up your perfect little backyard pond! :sneaky:

Almost every morning when I open my eyes, this is what I see. The alarm cat.
If you don't open your eyes you can usually get an extra 5 minutes before they start in with a paw. I had one years ago that would start tapping my nose. If your eyes opened it was over. Boo just ever so gently sets a paw on you and then slowly extends one claw just until it starts to hurt. Usually somewhere on the neck.
