This is my gig set up tho..3203 its a mini 800 basically & Normal side dimed is excellent & boost is heavier than my 800 after 8.5, The Boss MS3 has progressive settings & a few delays & phaser patches & built in if needed 4 dif EQ patches for dif type rooms, getting close to a band..soon. V30-75-greenies to mic

My 1987 clone. Sounds fabulous clean, crazy pick dynamics and has that great grind when you crank it. If I need more I can flavor it with any kind of pedal I want.

The reason I started this post played guitar with two bands yesterday not planed just out of the blue not my band ether
I went bare bones 7 string guitar and Deluxe amp had to play more intense like the old day's
I think that was the first time in my life playing around 100 songs in one day 12 hours got to me went into shock with pain when I got home.
It made me realize not in my twenty's anymore. The Deluxe amp did cover six styles of music well.

Interesting question! If I think of everything I've ever attempted to play, I think a Marshall 2204 with Greenbacks and a decent Strat with possibly Dimarzio HS-2 or something in the bridge would do most of the stuff pretty adequately.

Yes. Purchased the PCB, parts, stripped and re-drilled the chassis...repurposed a few of the Valve Jr original parts...and assembled it sloppily.


Like...11 years ago now....time flys. Still works too.

I'll be honest my 5E3 Deluxe is not stock my friend Mark serviced KWS Dumble Deluxe amp sent me the layout and voltage chart
I used 1959 output transformer that was the key and a power transformer made by Heyboer built in four hours start to finish.
The second D Deluxe I built five different transformer sets all sounded like A$$ 400 hours later found a 1959 output transformer with a Heyboer PT
they sound exact now.

In this video fast forward to 19:27 talks about the Deluxe amp.
