Identifying a Gibson LP

Hi I'm struggling to date a potential addition to my collection.

The serial number isn't making any sense to me.

The seller has advised me it is a 2005 Standard(plus). I've never heard of a "plus" and it does not say "Standard" on the Truss rod cover.

The serial number 033950645. Which is also weird because I thought LP's of that era had the 8 digit serial number.

I'm guessing the guitar was bought new in Australia, although it is not confirmed.

Any help is much appreciated.

I can Identify it -- it is MINE YOU SHOULD SEND IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!

according to "guitardaterproject.com" that serial number pulls this up----

HOWEVER---------- @Robert Herndon can run the seriel number (I dont have it any mrpoe) of his FAKE Gibson les paul and it gives a date and all in guitardater as well.
 
I DID STILL HAVE THE SERIAL # from my old Chibson now at Robbie boys and the gutiar dater project says.........................................

Just be careful man. A lot of scammers on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree in Australia at the moment.

If you can't pick up and are having it sent then

(1) Never use bank transfer
(2) Use Paypal
(3) Never get sucked in to sending the money as a 'gift' - you must always be a buyer and the other person a seller, otherwise there is no buyer protection

If the seller is being a tight-arse about paypal fees say you will cover the fees by adding money on top. If the person doesn't go with that then they are definitely dishonest.

Yea pretty close. I am bringing it home to try it it before I buy it.
He is not the original owner though.
He bought it 2nd hand from a guitar shop in Sydney about 10 years ago.
