Back in the beginning of learning guitar, bought the Hot August Night song book. It’s got everything if I remember. Notes. Chords. Tabs. At least in that book, for a beginner like me….. just strumming chords and singing along….. it was a pretty easy song. Now. To cover it well? That would not have been me doing it.
I’d say do it. It’s a great song.
You have me thinking Neil Diamond. Gonna have to dig the book out and play thru my favorites in it.

It's a simple song.
I did it with Neil in our little two man jam session at Archangel. Sang harmony with him on the chorus. Along with I'm A Believer.
