The 70s (1971-1978 primarily) are my least favorite decade for music, but I can easily find a couple iconic tunes that even I like.

I can agree with this assessment. Mr. Young is one of my favorite singer song writers…. If not the favorite.

Sorry. I like Neil Diamond as well. Maybe not as much as Young…. But he’s right there. I have seen both in concert. Both awesome shows.
