I have had 2 guitars with gold hardware, a 76 Explorer, and my white studio, but I bought my grandson a white Jay Turner SG copy that has gold Hadware

The gold is not bad, I guess I just prefer the silver...Just like a say black LP with silver would be my choice, vs the black LP with gold.....
Although to look @ the Blk n Gold do pop well...

And they can growl well with the best of them....
