I Was Once Known As 'El Extremo' - My Not-So-New Motorcycle Saga:

My buddy I used do dirt ride with his dad owned the Honda shop, which he also sold CanAm, Those boys rode every dirt bike that Honda and CanM made. I have to tell you they were powerful machines and the boys liked them. they let me ride one , it the 250 was impressive, but the noise of the things were deafening. Super super loud. You knew if one was coming, you heard it well before it got close to you.

Only saw a few Can Ams...

This is what their known for making now. I know two guys at the campground who have these. What I call the ultimate cruiser in motorcycles, if your looking for comfort.

I wanna play too! :D
I never rode much as I youngster but did occasionally take my brother's Yamaha YZ125 for a spin. I did, however, start riding on the street as an adult. My first bike was a 1986 Honda VF500 Interceptor. I then bought a Kawi Ninja 500R before finally upgrading to a 1998 Honda CBR600F3.

My buddy Steve and I used to go on annual week long road trips to see the AMA Superbike races. Have ridden to Road America, Mid-Ohio, VIR and a trip to see the MotoGP bikes at Indianapolis. Nicky Hayden (RIP) won that weekend in a rain soaked feature.
Alas, I sold the bike several years ago after a shoulder injury effectively prevented me from riding. My shoulder is better now but I have never fully got the bug to get back on two wheels.
