The blue one is affinity--- the Jazz bass is a Squire BULLET -- and the 51 Precision is a CV -- :)
Squire Bass party.jpg
The jazz bass is ANYTHING but mellow---Im looking for some REALLY HOT pups for it---- its signed by the Misfits and loaded with signature SKULL BUSTER bass strings :)

Did you get it? I see the listing has ended

EDIT: Oh I see above that you did

I highly recommend the QP Jazz set for any punk application, especially hardcore punk. Also great for metal. We used mine yesterday for a Garageband demo during the process of arranging a new Sloven (doom metal) song. We used the Razor Bass amp model with the neck pickup on full with the bridge turned right off. Worked well for that song. I can't remember the EQ settings on the preamp. I can get a heap of different sounds out of that bass though with the 4-band EQ so it is a very versatile bass. The only thing it doesn't do that well is really vintage mellow stuff, just because the pickups are so hot. But I can get close with the preamp. I can get a good Rickenbacker sound out of it as well, real Motorhead sound

The one mod I would definitely recommend for the '51 Precision is an Electrosocket. I fitted one to my friend's Telecaster and that made it a lot better. Pulled out that funny clip and installed it with no washers between the jack and the socket and I have enough of the jack hanging out that he can use a right angle cable if he wants to. I always use a right cable into the output jack when I can. The only one I can't do it for with mine is the Peavey Strat copy, just because it has the typical Strat jack plate

yes first couple days I had it the cord kept POPPING OUT -- I was like CRAP -- gonna need a new jack-- then I realized it could hand the right angle male plug in-- no big worries I just use the straight ojne and all is well-- I have both-- but I may doi the switch when I FIRE UP THE SOLDERING IRON again for the pup swap ;)

I used the US spec original Electrosocket and fitted a Switchcraft jack to his MIJ Telecaster as the original jack was in bad shape. Removing the funny clip gives the added benefit of being able to simply remove the two Electrosocket screws and service the jack if needed in the future. Normally with the clip in place you have to remove the control panel and take the jack out that way, after disassembling the jack cup on the outside. It pulls out with needle nose pliers and makes a satisfying noise when it hits the rubbish bin

I followed these videos

The first video is much more useful but the second one does show how the clip is in there. Best thing is just to pull it straight out and use a nice Switchcraft jack and the StewMac socket

That's a neat idea for sure. I considered that when I was building my 24.75" scale Tele-style guitars, but opted for a metal Strat-style, 4-screw jackplate...

Its scary you have these places in your computer...............

LOL!!! Nah, just a few images copied from the web. When I was living in Palm Springs, California, I found the music scene was heavily intertwined with the Gay scene, so I met a lot of very cool people and learned a lot of the 'street lingo' that's used. I am a joker and I just cannot resist an opportunity to poke fun at something. I spent a lot of time sitting outside the principal's door.....

HA! Im on the hunt for some for the Jazz Bass lol

they really added a depth to the P bass that the stockers didnt offer --- this thing is a BEAST now --- actually I was playing my Tele-- and well-- said "F" that and grabbed the P bass again--- cant get over the change --- very happy

I am intentionally giving you that one for free....
