Just to the left of the above pic where the blue roof public restroom building is there is a groovy little beach bar with the best "Bushwackers" in the area --
of course the absolute BEST Bushwakers and steemed shrimp come from the FLOR A BAMA Lounge -- built right on the Florida Alabama line....... so many good times at this place ......

Inland lakes lack two things, however - sharks and crowds!
The water looks pretty clear from where the pic was taken. Is it good for swimming?
We take a week or two every couple of years to Maine. There are some gorgeous lakes up there. They’re great for snorkeling.

Not right in that spot. It's got a lot of plant life there. The boats dock into this restaurant (Brewpub | The Dam Landing | Rochester Indiana) so it's pretty busy. Swimming is off the beach to the left or there are several swimming platforms around the lake.

BUt -- it was a great place to be a kid -- honestly -- I rag on OHIO and the FROZEN HELL -- but -- it afforded me the ability to to do SNOW stuff
I played hockey -- sled riding-- snowmobiling -- ice skating -- all the winter activities -- and enjoyed them VERY MUCH in my youth
now--- uhm no-- Ill be by the fire with a coconut rum and hot chocolate thanks ---- but ya'll have fun with all that
