Traynor YBA-1 Bass Master Mk ii (Plexi Mods)

Some trivia on my YGM3. Had an extended conversation some years ago with a customer service guy from Traynor. My amp was not actually built in Canada. The head and other components where shipped to Batavia New York where the cabinet was built and the Canadian parts installed. Had something to do with tariffs the US was charging Canada to import to the US. Won't bore y'all with the entire conversion, but between 72-75, Traynor had the US YGM3s assembled in Batavia. The serial number on my amp confirms. I'm told at best, I have one of only a few hundred YGM3s that were assembled in the US. I purchased the amp in a little Mom and Pop store in Galesburg Ill. Not sure how it got from NY to Il, but it did and I have it.

Ill find one laying around the swamp eventually -- left behind by a snowbird needing $$ to get home---- Im in no hurry -- might take a year or 3 -- but Ill stumble on one for 150-200.00 ;)

or better still Ill trade something of similar value that I paid 80 for ;)

ITs a ferengi thing you understand :)

the desire for the amp is far overshadowed by the desire for a GOOD DEAL and a PROFIT ;) ;)

If you find one for that price, you will want to hang onto it cause the price going to go up,up,up,up!!!!!!:)

Oh trust me -- I know how to work that angle my friend---- I have several things in my "collective" I paids small $ for that are odd -- rare and going Up Up UP ;)
