Your right Kim Mitchell is one of my top guitar players. I have been talking to some guys who have Traynor amps , they really dig them. One guy I was talking with, I forget which model he said he had, he told me he hasn't found anything out there that sounds as good to him. I like this YGL1 just been checking them out, I haven't had the opportunity to try one out yet. But I like what I hear through headphones from the demos.

If you get chance try a YCV50 Blue. I regret the day I let mine go. It is reasonably light, two awesome channels, and almost impossible to dial in a poor sound. It comes stock with a Vintage 30 and is by far the best sounding V30 amp I’ve heard. You can usually find a used one for 400 - 500 CDN.

Got my YGM3 in 1974. Bought it the same time as my Ovation. Then basically never used it till around 2009 when I got my G400. My kid use it quite a bit when he was in a garage band. He loved it. It’s a simple amp. Got Master, Bass and Teble controls along with on board reverb and tremolo. 20watts into a single 12. It’ll get the job done. Only used it a few times on worship band, but I was never really able to open it up.

ANd Ill add----if any of the Northern Brethren see THIS in a second hand or pawn shop cheap-----
GET IT -- I WANT it -- WE WILL WORK SOMETHING OUT!
