I looked at several reviews after reading this thread, and it looks like a really good pedal. I bet it sounds great, and probably more versatile than you average Klone.

Me to-- and YES IT DOES -- like this bloke said its a F**** KLON copy :)

I would actually like to try one----- Im getting pedal gas.

i played around with the sugar drive this morning. im impressed. what a great transparent over drive, even with the drive on the pedal maxed out, chords retain their clarity... you hear every single note. with the gain knob below 12 oclock it offers slight break up/boost to your tone, around 3 oclock it turns in to more drive and is more of an overdrive than a boost. with the gain maxed out it functions as an overdrive, but definitely not over the top, again its very transparent, your guitar and amps characteristics are not lost. so, final thoughts, its a fantastic boost/overdrive. well worth the money in my opinion.

Real Klons cost $230.00 new. I think the MXR sounds good at $120.00. On the real Klons I set the controls at 12 o'clock or 50%

Have fun, Steve.
