That sucks, because it will certainly slow down or eliminate the number of photos I’ll be posting here. Sites like these should keep up with data rates that phones are taking. On Strat-Talk one of the reasons I came here was that my new iPhone 15 pics were too large to upload, but it’s even worse here….lol I haven’t had a phone that took 2mb or less pics for over a decade.Yep, less than 2 MB.
Modifying images to 2 MB or below is quite easy. Windows has a built-in app simply called Photos that is good at this. That sucks, because it will certainly slow down or eliminate the number of photos I’ll be posting here. Most of us try and upload photos to a host site like Imjur. Then link that to TTR. Main reason being, photos take up a lot of storage space. TTR doesn’t have unlimited storage. Fact is. Wavmixer runs the website, he doesn’t own it…. So to speak. Some of us (members) donate cash to maintain it and pay for that storage. Wav can explain it better…. But that’s the short story. That sucks, because it will certainly slow down or eliminate the number of photos I’ll be posting here. I think most of my photos are 5-6megs. I have plenty of memory and storage. Changing my phone settings won’t do any good for the tens of thousands of guitar photos I have to share. I just need to be able to load them into a folder and then be able to change the res on every pic in the folder or something similar?…. If I have to manually go in and change each photo individually, I’ll just give up and move on.We don't need 14 MB photos on our phone, unless you are planning to print a billboard in the future.
Set your camera settings inside your phone. Or get a camera app that allows it.
my android takes photos at 330kb. It just eats up memory in your phone unnecessarily
Those look like pretty faithful reproductions! Nice.Welcome to the forum.. Those are beautiful builds. I've built a few electrics, but only as a hobby.
Here are three that I'm especially proud of.

Thanks. Yeah, I tried my best to make them very accurate. Doug Kauer supplied me with some drawings for the Billy Bo. The V came from a mash of several drawings and photos. The SG is a copy of my '62 that was for a friend in England. He finally got enough beer in me to reluctantly agree to build him a guitar. The ones that I've made are usually very close copies of guitars I can't afford. Those look like pretty faithful reproductions! Nice.
I was just going to recommend this one too. It’s what I use and is very simple to use. In Photos select the image and then use the up arrow to open in Image Size. It will remember your last size. Once open just select the down arrow to save the image in the new size. Takes all of 10 seconds.Just found this: How to Resize or Reduce Photo Size on iPhone and iPad

Fezz????!!!!!????Hey Scott!
Chris (fezz) here. Good to see you again.
Uploading to a hosting site works very well and saves space here. Can upload full size files and simply post the link here. I've done it that way for years w ImgurThat sucks, because it will certainly slow down or eliminate the number of photos I’ll be posting here. I use to allow unlimited file sizes up until a couple of years ago when we crashed the server. I do not mind hosting pics of your gear, I actually love to see the pics. However this is not a data mining website plastered with Google ads. I don't make any money from this site, it actually cost me money out of my pocket to keep it running for the 1st 5 years. Now this site is totally member supported. In an effort to stay within our storage limitations, we must keep all pictures of gear within the specified parameters. I also ask that if you can hot link images such as funny memes etc, you hot link those. No need to reinvent the wheel. This is just a small operation here, no command central located offshore. That sucks, because it will certainly slow down or eliminate the number of photos I’ll be posting here.
