I just found this forum.

I'm finding that out. My wife has it too. I think she brought it home from work. I guess my son
will be next.
I feel like I will be able to post for a short time thoughout the day. It's nice to talk about it with you folks.

We are getting snow today. I know there will be no shoveling by me.
Got snow here as well. Unfortunately. I’ll be out with the snow blower once it stops later this afternoon.

You guys just stay inside. Plenty of fluids. Rest. Get back at it when you feel better.

We'll be around.
I've used this place as a hangout when sick and injured too.
Feel better soon man!

Nice shot @blues

That rig is long gone. The red guitar is a Fender Lead II. I took my Dad's router and put
a DiMarzio Dual Sound Humbucker in the guitar.

Then with some help I add a Floyd Rose. The real deal too. They just came out with the fine tuners. But
the guitar had to be routed because it was a hardtail. In hindsight I should not have done that. It changed the tone
of the guitar. Not in a good way.

The amp is a Marshall JCM 2x12 4104 combo. It never got lost in the mix. My neighbors would verbally curse at me.
The rack is a DOD analog unit. Delay,Flange, and chorus. It had a cool feature. You could mix the dry single
with 1/4 of whatever effect you used.

So the chorus would fatten up the sound. But subtle enough that it did not sound like a tradition chorus effect. Think
Stone Temple Pilots Plush.
The explorer is a Gibson designer series. It came with that finish.

I had a early 70’s B cab with greenbacks, and a late 70’s A cab
A 2104 MV JMP, with a crybaby wha. And when I could, I borrowed a echoplex .
The Explorer in the pic was a 1976, that someone painted the pickgaurd black, my Strat got routed for a humbucker, and I put Bill Lawrence pickups in.

I wish I could have kept that gear. But I sold it when my youngest son was born.
He will be 40 on 9/29/2023

Cheers
Mitch
