It's true.
I had a perfectly fine Godin Freeway Classic, still do.
But my feeble little mind got to wanderin'.
It was hun, sing, hum. Then it became a triple bucker.
But I wasn't satisfied, I wanted more...

I wanted locking tuners, so I got a set of Hipshots with the longer 23mm posts to play nice with the thicker Godin headstock.

I had already put the roller string trees on.

Then I wanted some interesting pickup combinations, and with my other guitars, I had most normal pickup combinations covered already, so...

I went overboard... Two quad rails and a twin rail.
That's 5 humbuckers. 10 coils in all.
Duncan Triple Shot switching pickup rings on each quadbucker allows for series humbucker, parallel humbucker, north coil & south coil operation.
With the regular 5 way blade switch the combinations are many.
Then add in a push pull tone pot to flip phase on the middle pickup with a grippy ring on the knob to facilitate grip.

I'll be finding sounds in this thing for months.

Thanks again for this little gem, Adrian.

Awesome mod job, man...

WOW--- you took what was an amazingly good guitar and made it a STELLAR ONE OF A KIND GEM!!!

Cant wait to rub my junk on it again!!!
It's still the same amazingly good guitar, just more so now.
You will love the subtle transformation. From five switched tonal options, three of which hummed due to the single coil in the middle.
To so many different switched options, that I haven't even found em all yet. All of which are hum canceling, with out of phase capability as well.
And just wait till you rub your junk on the trem, it's ultra responsive with a set of NYXL .009's & two springs.

Whenever your schedule permits, we'll dine, drink & be festive.
