I Have Been Twanged Off the Terrace

Thanks, guys. Yes , We went last night. I wanted to buy a Epiphne Les Paul Custom , #1 Custom , #2 they are on sale for a decent price. So played the 2 that were on sale. A black Back custom with filtetron syle pickups and a Silver Black with Probuckers. First in to 20w DSL 20cr and then I went to the EVH Iconic combo.
Even though I went play guitars. 2nd time playing those EVH iconic amps and no guitar sounds bad on the iconic.

I ended up playing a Epiphone LP that was a plain headstock , thin blue burst non gloss and with open pickups. It was more difficult to decide.
So on and on I played and finally my wonderful lady walked in after doing some shopping. She went back out because I was still deciding.

Meantime , I am really getting in to the the tone of the guitar amp. I got a little lost playing my old standby by UFO "Let It Roll" so I am about to end the solo and some guy comes up and says can you do me a favor. Turn it up and I did a little.
Sort of lost my place. Went back and got back in and he was happy. I was sort of shocked. He didn't know the song but was going to look it up.

My lady comes back and sits on a stool , patiently waiting. So we got in to a conversation about the guitars and walked over to the used wall. At the very top resides a 2021 Classic Honeyburst and I told her this is the guitar that all the guitars in this store would be judged by.
Last thing she said was , get the one you want. Don't settle for a lesser guitar and back again and want another.

Mind you we had talked about the one I had in the cart. I am guessing she wanted me to play so I had no regret.

Nothing wrong with the Epiphones. They are worlds better than a few years ago.

Thinned down after recent gear wars & The Epi SG 61, Casino & Firebird as a good as any guitars i have ever had & that is a big number !!
Really thought was going all Gibson as usual cause not gonna chase like this again, but the casino floored me & so did each other one. Let the Crestwood go & the JJN LPC is going..only cause i have cross over tone but they all set up phenomenally.
