I got the JJ on Wednesday also.
Felt like poo on Thursday but was back to my normal self by Friday morning. Mrs. Gator only had a lite headache on Thursday.

For 8 years in the military, I was hospitalized for 2-3 days after each flu vaccination. Needless to say, I avoid these things.
Never got a flu shot either. But this one can kill me, so I’m waiting for a J&J shot too.

I have had more vaccines that most have had or can even imagine. I was in a Tactical Control Unit for 3 years and deployed all over the world.
Add to that the other 23 years in the USAF and the needle pokes add up quick!
I got vaccines for things I'd never even heard of. I got mildly sick once or twice, but nothing serious. I'd rather have the vaccine than the virus!

......I have almost posted this several times and erased it. Not sure all can "handle it" ......... we'll see I guess......
CONFESSION: I ........................have not stayed home a DAY (not 1 not a single damn 1) in 2020 or 2021 -- I have traveled through 11 states---3 airports--- truck stops-- construction sites-- using portl-o-ets (construction sites are FILTHY areas PERIOD) using shared tools-- equipment.... I dont wash my hands 20 times a day (the horror) no place to do so on a jobsite-- -- I dont wear a mask (horror #2-- I must be an poop chute!) --unless its in a close retail environment where I MIGHT affect ANOTHER "at risk" person--Ive been around Grandchildren and family -- WE HAD A CHRISTMAS -- with kids... germs-- hugs -- kisses... and family all around in 1 tiny ROOM! (and dogs birds ...cats... dirt dander MORE GERMS---its insane!!!!)
I am OUT and AROUND the PUBLIC --- constantly -- all day 6 to 7 days a week. (FYI at least in FLORIDA most folks in these stores....AINT WEARING MASKS EITHER--sorry its reality we are the "problem" state the REBELS ruining it for all! -- )

Guard everywhere mulling about and working -- all GIVING shots and USING the same port o lets...and the same SPACE as us -- bandages... cotton swabs... the OCCASSIONAL syringe/NEEDLE all left on the parking lot (yep) as we install signs and wheel stops and WORK in the area they are all working in.
I am CERTAIN, 220% certain, Ive been exposed to this virus at LEAST once (mathematically its not conceivable I haven't) and I am certain my system (and Sailor Jerry Rum) have "dealt" with it .....
Our 9 man crew has been OUT EVERY DAY as well.
Traveling ALMOST as much as me if not more in the given central Fl area-- and -- not 1 has had, shown, or exhibited a single sign of covid in the least --we havent had an employee register a SICK day all year -(well....2 used sick days for a tooth removal and a baby birth -- and one was just "tired"and needed a day off-- but no REAL ILLNESS) - we are working 60+ hour weeks every week. .........outside in public -- all day. NONE of their wives-- kids-- etc have had covid either (staggering isnt it?)
---how could it be possible out of 10 people traveling all over and working -- NONE have gotten sick????? seems AMZING and IMPOSSIBLE (if you belive the media #'s) doesnt it???? Or .......just MIGHT it be typical NATURE working its magic......?
Yes the way VACCINES WORK is they GIVE YOU THE VIRUS .(the number of people that dont know that makes me frankly, ILL! I recall learning this in MIDDLE SCHOOL BIOLOGY CLASS!!! HELLO PEOPLE!!!)
HOWEVER.......the way vaccines FAIL (much LESS talked about by the medical community) is when the persons system cant handle it ......................... "oops" say the medical community -- its THEIR fault...they were WEAK..... Many are VERY ELDERLY..........many get lost on the property and come up to me or crew and ask frantically "WHERE do I get the SHOTS!?!?!?" ---(Ive wanted to say DONT -- FVCKING RUN NOW!) but -- I just POINT to the area where the COPS -- Military-- Nurses and Tents are lined up .......not my battle-- they have their own Lions to fight .....

The entire situation is INSANE in its ENTIRETY, and caused me to doubt humanities ability to survive as a whole .....to be clear, for reasons FAR beyond any virus.

The entire situation is INSANE in its ENTIRETY, and caused me to doubt humanities ability to survive as a whole .....to be clear, for reasons FAR beyond any virus.
Same here. I have not missed a single day of work throughout the entire pandemic.

Well...my wife and I both got it and was off work for a while. My wife was pretty sick
and the loss of taste and smell really bothered her.
While she is in no rush to get the vaccine for day to day tasks she needs it to be able
to travel to Korea to see her mom. Her mom is in poor health and may not be around
for long...

I wear masks. I clean. I try to stay away. I am not dicking around with this. If you think masks are taking away some sort of freedoms, if no one wears them we will be shut down for waaaay longer. That takes away freedoms.
