Jon Schaffer is a great guitarist and song writer. A lot of Iron Maiden influence but more progressive
 
Sweet guitar! I gave my "Metal" guitar to my Daughter's step son a few months ago along with a little pedalboard and headphone amp, he thought it was the coolest thing when he saw it!

Thanks! And my only issue with the RR V i could never get past is its not symmetrical... Like it looks really deformed to me. Although i do understand the appeal just not my thing. :\

I like Ibanez necks also, I actually like thinner necks, I don't have long fingers or big hands so really fat wide necks don't work for my sausage fingers.....lol

As a matter of fact I had to move along a Richie Sambora Sig Strat because the neck was so wide on it.

5 Jacksons here. It does make sense.

...oddly, I haven't played any of them in some time now, and my favorite V has the fattest chunkiest neck I've ever had in my paw lol

I only have one Ibanez and it's neck is like a matchstick...it's too small for me/large hands
 
Update....havn't gotten a ship notification from Zzounds, they did say the 9th was "Estimated" I go on zzounds and located the 7 string and it's saying to expect to have them Jan 9th if you order now...

Welp..... i was kinda rushing my other project so i would be able to rip on the new one without distractions, guess i can take my time with it now LOL!!!
Oh the holiday seasons...
