Yeah, it's just a mock up and lacks the inflatable side pontoons for the vehicle. I don't show all functionality in this drawing. At first it was just water tight, like to go across rivers easier, but later I thought, just add some stabilization pontoons and it could be like a boat too. Just have to seal the doors and attach inflatable side pontoons.
Yeah, inflatable pontoons is what I would have used too. Just remember to provide some means for escape if things go sideways.

Right on, that's why the tops of the doors, where the windows would be, are removable so you can escape, like onto a pear or onto dry land. After leaving the water, just open the door. Otherwise you have to crawl out through the escape hatch at the window area of either door. When including the trailer, that's when the functionality gets magnified. I enjoy alternative forms of transportation and new energy systems.

Does it have reverse in water and land
With a design like this, reverse is important. Good point. So far, I am using standard off the shelf tech, so I would have to create a custom built design. You make an important point, because if no foot maneuvering is available, like for a motorcycle, then a backup gear is more or less required. I would be sure to have reverse gear, yes.

As for water, yes, my propulsion tech, the flower of life machine, would make a great water propeller too, and it operates just as well in forwards as it does in reverse, so in theory, yes, I can easily reverse the water mode, but for land, I might need to add, a dedicated reverse functionality to it, like a smaller electric motor just for reverse, as direct drive motors are such a blessing without transmissions.

With a transmission, one could just incorporate a reverse gear into that. But so far, I feel lucky to have motors at each wheel thus removing the need for transmissions. Thus seems like a separate reverse drive system seems likely to solve this problem. Good analysis my friend!

Here's a graphic mock up, with 1/4 removed for better viewing. This is my flower of life design. It's a better aircraft propeller. It stands to produce on the order of at least 3 times more thrust per revolution, and as such, provide the same thrust at half the RPM's and that's a game changer. It's a hybrid design of the best pumps/engines we have today.

I have key aspects of each type deeply involved in my design and without the legacy downside of any of them, except for one, it's going to be hard to seal the inside chamber. But in a pump configuration, that issue is of nominal concern compared to the benefits gained. This design, could revolutionize the aviation industry. And I call it, the flower of life machine, because that ancient symbol from our amazing and mysterious prehistory, is a diagram overlay, for my machine!

Enjoy, what in some sense, is a timeless thing of beauty, paying humble respect to the flower of life.

Here's a better graphic of the flower of life machine. In this case, it's purpose built to be a better kind of aircraft propulsion system, easily delivering at 3 and 4 times more thrust per revolution, than a standard propeller system, thus easily HALVING the new typical RPM requirements for flight. That's quieter and easier to build flight.

Life is good when it's creatively inspired, by a care to improve things.

We all deserve much better than we get. I say, this new propulsion tech, is slated to take VTOL, to the next level. Door to door service, including super sonic travel, without any jet fuel or any fossil fuel combustion needed.

As all those rotors rotate in unison, imagine that X and that funny looking O, traveling directly rearward. And see how each O, is an enclosed cavity, so it functions like a power chamber, being fully enclosed. But at the beginning, the mouth is still open to accept input air, and at the rear it opens to eject the thrust from the pump. That is represented by the X looking portion.

Anyway, this is essentially giving uniquely designed turbines, that are placed in a unique arrangement, power chambers! A seeming contradiction, but this is not just one turbine, it must have at least four moving in synchronicity. And it's not just open blades, it's more like a rotor than a blade. So this is seriously a hybrid design, of the best of the best kinds of engine pumps we have.

I forgot to mention, my design does NOT include ANY proprietary Wankel rotary engine design parts. My rotors are roughly 10% different shape/size/form. But they do look similar.

Remember, there are TWO of these designs, not just one. This aviation design, is the high flow version. It's the high pressure version, that looks more like the Wankel rotary rotor shape, and the flower of life symbol. This "brother and sister" design I have been showing here, is the two sided, high flow, rotor design.

The other design is a three sided rotor and it's better at higher pressure, and lower flow rates. But I still call them both, the flower of life machine. So if you notice a difference between the flower of life design, and this, your right. This is literally, it's sibling design. One doable step at a time.

Here's an interesting example of VTOL technology. But using the old dated propellers. hehe ;)

 
Notice the elegant and simple, clean and streamline nature, of this VTOL aircraft. Looks "almost" similar in design concept and size, to my design. But again, my design would use my improved propulsion system. I enjoy a life with more freedom and empowerment.

 
It's an electric word now. update your programming, top gear is dinosaur petrochemical nonsense.

They make base line electrics, that go zero to 60 in under 5 seconds,, need I say more?
 
They make fully enclosed recumbent bikes, that go over 60 mph without motor assist!
