I Bought a Farm...

As some know my grandfather passed away last year and I inherited the Moto Guzzi 850.

My grandma just turned 94 and she really wanted to keep the property in the family and as
no one else was interested I just bought the place!

28 acres in southern Ohio. 13 acres farm-able and the rest of it woods with a large creek running through it.
2000 sq. ft. house with a 2000 sq ft. full finished basement and a 6000 sq ft. barn.

Also has a heated dog kennel that I can turn into storage or a chicken coup...

Great stuff!!!
If in a similar position I suspect I'd have grabbed it.
Not sure if I could actually live there in winter, be great for a summer holiday home.
Congratulations.

We are going to attempt to live there when I retire in 8 years. In the meantime my grandma is staying put. When she is gone
one of my daughters may live there for awhile.

If the winters get annoying I have a house in Florida and this one in SoCal...

Grandma living in your house ... screw her over with crazy high rent HAAA haaa

I have a wise old grandma...she made me sign a sworn statement that she can live there rent free until she passes...

I figured that BUT what happens in the middle of next winter when some (unknown) person turns the heating to the house off and cuts the phone lines. Did she get a sworn statement covering that ;-)
